The Moberly Police Department reports the arrest of a man following a standoff on Thursday, September 26, 2024.
According to the news release, on September 20, the Moberly Police Department was made aware of a possible kidnapping and assault that happened at a home on Rollins Street.
The victim was rescued by the Moberly Police Department Swat Team and North Missouri Drug Task Force.
A warrant was issued to arrest 38-year-old Vaughn Woods for kidnapping, assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
Yesterday (Thursday), the Moberly Police Department found Woods at a home in the 800 block of Union Avenue.
After an hour long standoff with the Moberly Swat Team he was arrested without incident.
