Mexico Public Safety Department responded to the following calls for service on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
Suspicious person on North Clark and at South Clark and at North Washington/Borne and on Bougainville.
Suspicious noise at West Monroe.
Stealing or theft on West Monroe and at MacFarlane and at the Vance Road apartment building.
Domestic verbal incident on Garfield.
Scam at West Pearson.
Car accidents:
No injuries reported following a two-car accident in Mexico on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old Mexico resident was driving west on Boulevard and became distracted and did not observe a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Jessica Blackwell of Mexico and collided with the rear of Blackwell’s vehicle.
