Three Mexico High School Lady Bulldogs volleyball players are the recipients of an award.
It was announced yesterday (Wednesday) that Emily Moppin, Addison Paden, and Skyler Arnold were recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) for the Best and Brightest Award.
All-three made the 1st team.
The AVCA Award recognizes high school senior student-athletes who excel both on and off the court.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must earn at least a 3.5 unweighted or 4.0 weighted grade point average during their junior year.
And play in at least 50% of their varsity team’s sets during their senior season.
First Team, Second Team, and Third Team awards are determined by the athletes GPA.
