29-year-old Linkon H. Rickard was arrested on an Parole and Probation arrest warrant out of Pike County on Sunday, November 10, 2024.

Car accidents:
No injuries reported following a two-car accident in the 1100 block of Elmwood Drive on Monday, November 11, 2024. According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 42-year-old Jerry Crum of Mexico of Martinsburg was backing from Elmwood Drive into a private lot. A vehicle driven by 51-year-old Michael Niekamp swerved to avoid hitting Crum’s vehicle and a collision happened. Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.
Mexico Public Safety responded to a two-car accident on Muldrow at Liberty on Sunday, November 11, 2024. According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 64-year-old Breta Carpenter of Mexico, struck the driver’s side of a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Brian Hill of Mexico. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Mexico Public Safety responded to a motorcycle accident on Saturday, November 10, 2024. According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a 2024 Kawasaki z-900 driven by 23-year-old Noah Lee of Mexico, pulled onto South Clark from Green Estates Park and laid his motorcycle down. No injuries were reported.
Mexico Public Safety responded to a two-car accident on Friday, November 8, 2024. According to the accident report it happened on Clark at Promenade. A vehicle driven by 37-year-old Dustin Tinker of Thompson was stopped at a stop sign and was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by 57-year-old James Williams Jr. of Mexico. No injuries were reported.
