Two candidates will be running for one open seat on the Mexico City Council during the April, 2025 election.
Incumbent Chris Williams and Ron Ray will vie for the seat.
Williams was first elected to the Mexico City Council in April 2010.
Longtime Mexico business owner Ron Ray filed on Friday, December 21, 2024.
Mr. Ray owned Slumberland in Mexico before his son Logan took over the family business.
Chris Williams filed for re-election to the Mexico City Council on the first day of candidate filing on December 10, 2024.
Williams seat is on the only seat open on the Mexico City Council for the April 2025 election.
Candidate filing closed on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
The election will take place on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.
