The Mexico High Academic team is continuing to move up in the national rankings.
The Mexico High moved up from #8 to #3 in the new Groger national Quiz Bowl rankings that just dropped on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

According to the record books this is the highest a Missouri team has ranked on this scale since the ranking system started in 2018.
In the current rankings the next top Missouri ranked team is New Heights (Joplin) at #37 and then Parkway West at #60.
Mexico High Academic Team head coach Dale Schenewerk gave a shout out to the hard work and dedication of the A team members, seniors Camden Williams, Andrew Peuster, and Lucy Gleeson, as well as junior Hunter Feger.
Up next for the Mexico High Academic Team will be the Tiger Bowl in Columbia on January 25, 2025.
