
The Mexico High School boys wrestling team took home first place at the St. Charles Invitational.
Over the two day competition, Mexico 10 wrestlers placed in the top 6 with 3 champions, 1 runner-up and 2 third place honors.
Mexico senior Grant Van Horn reached a career milestone picking up win number 150.
Grant has wrestled all four years of his Mexico High career.
As a freshman Grant went 42-4.
His sophomore year he went 44-7.
His junior campaign he record was 40-7.
And he has started his senior year off at 25-0.
Other accolades for Grant include a 4th place finish at State as a freshman, 5th in State as a sophomore, and a 2nd place finish in state as a junior.
Continuing on with results from the St. Charles Invitational Carlos Juarez Ramirez took home first at 106.
Kyler Carr was first at 150.
Grant Van Horn was first at 175.
Grant Walker was third at 215.
Travis Shramek was a third place finisher.
Logan Hilderman was second at 113.
Kyler Benne, Brayden Arnold, Watson Azdell all finished fifth.
