Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Monday, Apr. 7, 2025:
- Suspicious activity at Northeast Park.
- Peace disturbance on Meyers.
- Vandalism at the Hassen apartment building.
- Careless and imprudent driver on East Liberty.
- Animal/abuse or neglect at Howell Manor Court.
- Suspicious person on West Boulevard and at South Clark.
- Domestic verbal incident on Rock Springs Drive.
- Stolen vehicle at Josephine.
- Assault without injury at Plunkett Park.
- Suspicious vehicle on Teal Lake Road/Huntingfield and at Northeast Park.
Car accidents:
No injuries reported following a vehicle accident at 5700 East Liberty in Mexico on Monday, Apr. 7, 2025.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Erin Avant was driving eastbound on East Liberty and an object from another vehicle driven by an unknown driver fell.
The object skidded across the roadway striking the front of Avant’s vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
The vehicle was driven from the scene.
