The Community R6 High School boys golf team finished 6th out of 12 teams in a tournament at Jackson Park in Palmyra on Monday, Apr. 14, 2025.
Head coach Bob Curtis says “The boys did it!!! One of our goals was to shoot a 200 or better and they did it twice yesterday!!! We shot a 200 on the front 9 at Jackson Park in Palmyra, Mo. and a 194 on the back.”
Ezra Johnson was the low round for the Trojans with a 92 and finished 19th out of 52 golfers.
Cooper Rohan shot a 95, Kaiden Erdel a 98, Kyler Swaim a 109, and Braysen Glasgow a 122.
South Shelby won the tournament with a team score of 335.
Low individual was a tie between South Shelby junior Colt Schmitz and Palmyra senior Gavin Greving who both shot a 76 on the day.
