A two vehicle accident in Audrain County Thursday evening sent one man to the hospital with serious injuries
the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident happened around 5:18 p.m, when a 2025 Kawasaki Vulcan, driven by a 30-year-old Jefferson City man, who was traveling eastbound on Highway K, was struck by a southbound 2007 Freightliner driven by a 20 year old Vandalia man, who failed to yield at a stop sign.
The motorcyclist was airlifted to University Hospital. The truck driver was not hurt.
