A Columbia man faces multiple felony charges after a violent crash injured three people last month.
Prosecutors say 20-year-old D’Angelo Larkin is charged with three counts of second-degree assault, three counts of armed criminal action, and leaving the scene of an accident.
The crash happened October 3rd on Providence Road near Interstate 70. Court documents say Larkin was driving a Tesla that collided with another car after running red lights while racing.
The Tesla’s dashcam allegedly captured the race and crash. Larkin told investigators he fled because he was scared. He pleaded not guilty during his initial court appearance Monday.
