In College basketball, the Missouri women’s basketball team continues to gain momentum in the early part of the season. Last night at Mizzou Arena, the Lady Tigers ran their record to 3-0 with a decisive 97-75 win over Arkansas State.
Five Tigers scored in double digits. Junior guard Grace Slaughter led the team with 23 points and added nine rebounds,
while Senior forward Jordana Reisma recorded her second double-double of the season with 22 points and 15 rebounds.
And Missouri basketball is making more waves today, the first day of National College Basketball Signings across the country. The Mizzou men’s team added two top recruits to their 2026 class: five-star power forward Toni Bryant, and four-star small forward Aidan Chronister. Five-star guard Jason Crowe Jr., will reportedly be signing tomorrow. That will give Missouri the #2 class in the country.
Meanwhile, the women’s team is also building a strong 2026 class, signing prospects like Ellie Muller, Khloe Ford, and four-star point guard Natalya Hodge.
Mizzou softball has signed Audrey Cathey (Spring Hill, Tenn.), Katelyn Guilliam (Summerville, S.C.), Katelynn Knight (Owasso, Okla.), Hadley Borders (Bowling Green, Ky.), and Gracie Britton (Ashland, Mo.), head coach Larissa Anderson announced on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
These five complete the Tigers’ Class of 2026, which ranks as the No. 23 class nationally according to on3.com.

In MLB, former Missouri outfielder Kameron Misner is coming home. The Kansas City Royals acquired Misner from the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday for a player to be named later or cash considerations.
The 27-year-old Misner was designated for assignment by the Rays last week, after he hit just .213 with five homers and 22 RBIs in 217 plate appearances.
He was raised in Poplar Bluff. and was drafted by the Marlins in 2019.
Yesterday (Tuesday), KC swapped minor league pitchers with San Francisco. Acquiring right-hander Mason Black in exchange for right-hander Logan Martin.
