Russell Davis, President Central Missouri Veterans Monument Foundation says the group is preparing for their 2nd annual Chili Cook-Off coming up this Saturday.
The Chili-Cook Off is slated for Saturday from 1-4pm, at VFW Post 3772 on Jefferson Street in Mexico. for those wishing to participate it is a $30 entry fee. To taste the samples, it’s just $5 for those over the age of 5.
Davis adds that several area businesses have already gotten involved in a silent auction to be held at the event.
