Moberly firefighters responded to a structure fire Saturday night in the 600 block of Allen Street. Upon arrival fire crews saw heavy fire and smoke coming from the attic of a residential building. The fire was contained to the attic of the duplex, however the structure sustained heavy damage and is thought to be a total loss,
Crews remained on scene for nearly five hours fighting the blaze. No one was injured. No word on how many people were displaced.
An investigation into the cause is in progress.
