A former Pettis County sheriff’s deputy faces charges after a grand jury indicted him on possession and promotion of child pornography.
Jordan Schutte, of Sedalia, is accused of posting a video depicting child sexual abuse to a private Snapchat story in June 2025.
A Missouri Internet Crimes Against Children task force tip led investigators to identify Schutte’s account, linking it to his phone number provided at work.
He is being held in the Miller County Jail on a $75,000 bond, with additional court dates to be announced.
