A single vehicle accident that shut down westbound I-70 for nearly five hours early this morning has killed a Bakersfield, California man.
The 32-year old male was driving a 2024 Kenworth tractor trailer when he ran off the left side of I-70, returned to the roadway and overturned. The accident happened at 1:50am this morning at the 111 mile marker near the Wooldridge exit.
