Columbia firefighters responded to a vehicle fire Wednesday morning at the University Hospital parking garage.
Crews were called to the structure at Hospital Drive and Hitt Street around 10:30.
Firefighters quickly contained the flames to a single vehicle, preventing damage to nearby cars or the building itself.
The garage was temporarily closed while crews worked to put out the fire and ensure public safety.
No one was injured, and operations at the hospital have since returned to normal, according to the Columbia Fire Department
