
A Fayette woman will spend the rest of her life in prison for the 2021 murder of 8-month-old Hannah Kent in Columbia.
Forty-nine-year-old Jennifer Johnson was sentenced Monday to life for second-degree murder and 15 years on each of two child endangerment charges.
Prosecutors said Johnson was the only person who could have caused the baby’s fatal injuries while babysitting.
