The Moniteau County Sheriff’s Office has announced two arrests after two drug-related searches at separate residences in Clarksburg on Friday morning.
Hoyt A. Marcott, of Clarksburg, was charged with delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. William L. Belt, of Clarksburg, was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree trafficking drugs and possession of a controlled substance.
Sheriff’s Deputies along with the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force found methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and items commonly associated with the distribution of illegal narcotics during the execution of the first warrant. Marcott was taken into custody and transported to the Moniteau County Jail, where he is being held on a $10,000 cash only bond.
During the second search, investigators located approximately 171 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and additional Schedule II controlled substances. Belt was taken into custody and also transported to the Moniteau County Jail. He is being held on a $50,000 cash only bond.
