Firefighters battled an early morning house fire in Montgomery City on Wednesday.
Crews were called out just after 2 a.m. to South Walker Street, where they found the structure fully engulfed in flames.
Two people had made it out safely, but one was taken to the hospital by EMS.
The Montgomery Fire Protection District got help from departments in New Florence and Wellsville, along with Montgomery County Ambulance and Montgomery Police.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
