Two women have been indicted after Boone County deputies reportedly found methamphetamine in their car.
Court documents show 37-year-old Heather Rybolt and 35-year-old Casey Sharp were arrested March 7 and charged with first-degree drug trafficking.
Deputies say they stopped a 2021 Hyundai on eastbound I-70 around 1 a.m. for a window tint violation and an obstructed license plate.
A K-9 alerted deputies to drugs, leading to the discovery of about two and a half pounds of meth.
Rybolt also faces a charge for possessing drug paraphernalia and had an outstanding warrant from St. Charles County.
