A Columbia man is facing multiple felony charges tied to child sexual abuse material.
According to court documents, Paul Piersee is charged with three counts of possession of child pornography and one count of promoting it in the first degree.
The investigation began in July of 2025, when a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper traced illegal file sharing to an IP address linked to Piersee’s home.
A search warrant served Thursday reportedly uncovered a laptop and storage devices containing the material.
Piersee is being held in the Boone County Jail without bond.
