The Missouri Heart Center in Columbia will shut down May 6, following a legal dispute with Boone Health.
Boone Health sued the cardiology group, claiming plans for a new heart center would violate a non-compete agreement.
In a statement, Boone Health says several Missouri Heart Center providers will join its new cardiology clinic.
Some patients say they’re unsure if their doctor is making the move.
Boone Health says more details are coming soon and emphasizes care will continue without disruption.
