Criminal charges against Mizzou freshman JJ Bush have been dismissed for now.
Boone County Prosecutor Roger Johnson confirmed the decision Wednesday, but says the case could be refiled.
Bush was arrested Monday night after police say he fled from officers on East Broadway, reaching speeds near 80 miles per hour.
Officers say the pursuit lasted about 20 seconds before Bush stopped.
He was originally charged with a felony and a misdemeanor and was booked into the Boone County Jail early Tuesday, later posting bond.
