Charges are expected today in Randolph County Court for 20-year-old Alayna Mason in the stealing of a police vehicle and a service weapon.
Mason is thought to be connected to the disappearance of 16-year-old Kayla Huff, who has been missing since last Wednesday. Searchers had been looking for her in the Rudolf Bennitt State Conservation Area. The family called off Sunday’s search citing the large amount of property that had already been covered.
Meanwhile, a 17-year-old juvenile was also arrested in the case over the weekend.
