A single-vehicle motorcycle accident late Saturday night has left a 43-year-old Keytesville woman dead and a 47-year-old Brookfield man in serious condition.
The crash happened in Chariton County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the two were riding a 2011 Harley Davidson eastbound on Highway 24, three miles east of Keytesville.
About 11:20pm, the man ran off the roadway and ejected both riders. He was taken by MU1 Air Evac to University Hospital in Columbia.
The Keytesville woman, who was the passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene.
