One woman has been arrested in Montgomery County following an assault on Monday evening.
Court documents say that Candic Davis or Maplewood was riding in the back of a car when she got into an argument with the other passengers, and began trying to strangle the driver and another passenger.
The reports say that when the car got back to its residence, Davis began trying to attack the victims with a screwdriver and a box cutter to try and stab them.
When officers arrived on the scene, they noted that Davis was visibly impaired and had been drinking vodka straight from a bottle.
Davis has been charged with two counts of assault and two counts of armed criminal action and she has an arraignment scheduled in Montgomery County court Thursday at 8:30 a.m.
