A 73-year-old Linn woman was killed Wednesday afternoon in a crash on Missouri 100 in Osage County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the woman suffered a medical emergency while driving, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway, strike several trees and a fence, and overturn in a field.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 70-year-old male passenger suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia.
Troopers say neither person was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
