A Boone County grand jury has indicted a Columbia man on multiple child pornography charges.
Forty-year-old Paul D. Piersee faces three counts of possession of child pornography and one count of first-degree promoting child pornography.
Investigators say they traced files identified as child sexual abuse material to an internet address linked to Piersee’s residence and later found additional material on electronic devices.
Authorities allege he also distributed videos online.
Piersee was arrested in April and remains held without bond in the Boone County Jail.
He is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday morning at the Boone County Courthouse.
