The Kansas City Royals fell to the Texas Rangers 4-2 last night
After a weather delay of more than two hours, the Rangers jumped out early and never looked back.
Brandon Nimmo drove in a run in the first, Elias Díaz added an RBI bunt in the second, and Corey Seager homered in the third to give Texas a 3-0 lead.
The Royals answered with two runs in the fourth, including Kameron Misner’s first hit with Kansas City, but Evan Carter’s RBI single in the sixth helped the Rangers secure a 4-2 victory.

 

The St. Louis Cardinals fell to the New York Mets 5-4 Last night
The Mets avoided a series sweep, powered by Juan Soto’s go-ahead solo home run in the seventh inning.
The teams combined for six homers in a back-and-forth game, with Bo Bichette and Jared Young also going deep for New York.
After Soto’s decisive blast, Devin Williams pitched a perfect ninth inning to earn his ninth save of the season.
