New Felonies Added in Connection to Kayla Huff Disappearance

New charges have been added against two of the people accused in the disappearance and death of Kayla Huff in Moberly.

19-year-old Hunter Ames and 23-year-old Christopher Hull have each had a charge of First Degree Property Damage and Second Degree Burglary after reportedly pouring oil or antifreeze into Kayla Huff’s gas tank the night she was killed.

Ames was already charged with First Degree Murder, First Degree Kidnapping – Facilitating A Felony – Inflicting Injury – Terrorizing, and Tampering With Physical Evidence In Felony Prosecution.

Hull already had charges of First Degree Kidnapping – Facilitating A Felony – Inflicting Injury – Terrorizing, and Tampering With Physical Evidence In Felony Prosecution.

They joined three other people previously charged in the case.

20-year-old Alayna Mason was charged with First Degree Murder and First Degree Kidnapping – Facilitating A Felony – Inflicting Injury – Terrorizing.

26-year-old was charged with First Degree Kidnapping – Facilitating A Felony – Inflicting Injury – Terrorizing, and Tampering With Physical Evidence In Felony Prosecution.

Prosecutors charged 24-year-old Skyler W. Powell with a felony count of Hindering Prosecution of Felony.
