A Columbia teen charged in connection with a deadly January shooting is scheduled to appear in Boone County court today.
Seventeen-year-old Mikel Jones faces charges including second-degree murder, first-degree robbery and two counts of armed criminal action in the death of Michael Ryan Burke.
Jones was indicted by a grand jury in June and is being held in the Boone County Jail without bond.
Court records show a motion hearing is set for Today at 9 a.m. in Division Three.
