A Laddonia man is facing charges for allegedly sexually abusing a child.
Prosecutors have charged 33-year-old John Travis Trower with Enticement of a Child, Third Degree Child Molestation, First Degree Endangering Welfare of Child Creating Substantial Risk, and two misdemeanor counts of Supplying Liquor To A Minor.
According to probable cause statements, a victim under the age of 14 reported that Trower sexually abused them multiple times this year.
That victim, as well as one other victim, both said that Trower gave them alcohol and then choked them during an argument.
Trower was taken to the Audrain County Jail Monday. His bond was amended earlier Tuesday to $50,000 cash or surety, and the conditions for his release were laid out.
He has a bond review hearing scheduled for July 21st at 8:30 a.m.
