A Columbia man is in custody following an early Sunday morning shooting.
Police say officers responded to a shots-fired call around 2 a.m. in the 10 block of Old Highway 63, where they found a man with non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim was taken to a local hospital.
Shortly after the shooting, Boone County Sheriff’s deputies located the suspect’s vehicle, and 22-year-old Lorenzo Toledo of Columbia was arrested.
He’s charged with first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
