Multiple law enforcement officers sustained injuries Tuesday morning after a porch collapsed while carrying out a high-risk warrant in Huntsville.
The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post that member of the Moberly Area SWAT Team and the US Marshals Service, as well as supporting personnel were conducting law enforcement operations when the collapse occurred.
Several officers were taken to hospital for treatment. All reported injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening and no civilians were hurt.
The circumstances around the collapse are being documented as part of the incident overall.
The warrant operation and any related criminal investigation are still active.
The social media post adds that anyadditional information will be released as it becomes available.
