A Columbia man charged in the 2024 shooting death of a Fulton teenager is scheduled to stand trial early next year.
46-year-old Mitchell Henderson Jr., faces charges of first-degree murder, illegal gun possession and armed criminal action in the death of 19-year-old Jakiem Braggs.
Investigators say Braggs was found with gunshot wounds after officers responded to a shots-fired call on Kathy Street in July 2024.
Henderson remains jailed without bond.
His trial is set to begin Feb. 1, 2027, with a pretrial conference scheduled for Jan. 25.
