Jefferson City Police are investigating a series of vehicle break-ins that happened early Thursday morning.
Police say several vehicles were entered, and three were stolen, with most of the incidents reported on the city’s east side.
Surveillance video shared by the department shows a person rummaging through a vehicle around 1:30 a.m. Investigators are asking residents to check doorbell camera footage recorded between 1 and 4 a.m. and report any suspicious activity by calling the department’s non-emergency number.
Police also remind residents to lock their vehicles and never leave keys or valuables inside.
