Royals lose again, add Kimbrel

The Cubs pounded Kansas City pitching yesterday with 18 hits on their way to a 10-2 win over KC. The Royals only runs came on a two-run homer from outfielder Sterling Marte.

After the game, Kansas City announced they have signed 38-year-old veteran reliever Craig Kimbrel.
