Columbia Police have arrested a 35-year-old man after a woman’s death was ruled a homicide.
Police say officers responded to a cardiac arrest call Wednesday afternoon in the 13-hundred block of Range Line Street. Investigators determined the death was suspicious and later ruled it a homicide.
The victim was identified as 37-year-old Destiny Dunn of Kansas City.
Nicholas Ayres of Crane is charged with second-degree murder and first-degree domestic assault.
He is being held in the Boone County Jail without bond.
The investigation remains ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
