Columbia police are investigating a fatal head-on crash on Forum Boulevard.
The crash happened around 2:55 Saturday afternoon in the 2900 block of Forum Boulevard, near Wilson’s Fitness. Police say a 46-year-old Columbia man, driving one of the vehicles, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Police say there were no passengers in either vehicle.
Forum Boulevard was closed in both directions as officers investigated. The crash remains under investigation, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
