University officials are investigating the cause of a small fire at a Mizzou residence hall in the 1000 block of Tiger Avenue. Crews arrived at 5:56 a.m. to find smoke coming from the fifth and top floor of the dorm building.
A press release states that the only property damage was an electrical device in the area. Students were later allowed back into the unaffected rooms and no injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
