Randolph County residents are voicing concerns over the possibility of a data center being built in the county.
Dozens gathered Monday night at the Renick Fire Department for a meeting organized by the Randolph County Land Alliance.
Residents discussed a possible moratorium on data center construction, saying a temporary pause would give them more time to get answers from county leaders.
The city of Moberly says it has not received any data center proposals or held talks with developers.
The Land Alliance plans to take its concerns to Jefferson City on September 16.
