Moberly Proceeds with Multimillion Dollar Wastewater Project

The city of Moberly has decided to proceed with a $1.5 million project to upgrade wastewater treatment and target lagoon reliance in the area.

The Route JJ Wastewater System Project is working to address three lagoons around the area near Heritage Hills Golf Course and two mobile home parks. The project will see wastewater routed to the new sewer line for the project.

The project includes installing approximately 16,500 linear feet of 4-inch force sewer, three submersible wastewater pumping stations and three generators.

The estimated timeline for construction is around 12 months. The bid opening for the project will be on September 9.
