An inmate at the Moberly Correctional Center has been charged for allegedly assaulting an employee.
Surveillance footage reportedly showed 30-year-old inmate Brenden L. Wissman striking an employee in the face before continuing to assault them while they were on the ground.
Detectives said that the victim was found unconscious and seriously injured.
Wissman was charged with Felony Violence to an Employee of the DOC.
He is currently serving a 15-year sentence for an Unlawful Use of a Weapon offense.
