Jefferson City police have arrested a 31-year-old man accused of breaking into multiple vehicles.
Court documents say Sajan Karki faces two counts of second-degree burglary. Police responded September third to reports of a man rummaging through vehicles on East Dunklin Street, where cash was reported missing.
Officers later found Karki nearby, matching a description of the suspect. Court records also accuse him of stealing from a vehicle on Paddlewheel Circle.
Police say Karki had cash and multiple credit and debit cards belonging to other people when he was arrested.
He remains in the Cole County Jail on a ten-thousand-dollar bond.
