Teen Charged as Adult in Kayla Huff Killing

A 17-year-old has been certified as an adult and charged in connection with the killing of 16-year-old Kayla Huff.

Christopher Woods-Bloss faces charges of first-degree murder, first-degree kidnapping and armed criminal action.

Court documents say Woods-Bloss was in an on-and-off relationship with Huff and was last seen with her on May 6, the day she was reported missing.

Investigators say Huff’s car was later found abandoned on Route EE, and her body was discovered at Rudolf Bennitt Conservation Area.

Woods-Bloss is being held without bond in the Randolph County Jail.

Five other people have also been charged in connection with Huff’s disappearance and death.
