Two people are facing drug charges following an investigation into methamphetamine distribution in Callaway County.
Deputies say 58-year-old Annie Werner of Auxvasse was pulled over October fifth and found with 26 grams of methamphetamine. Court documents state she told deputies she was transporting the drugs from Columbia to Kingdom City.
The investigation led deputies to 64-year-old Galen Scott’s residence, where they allegedly found meth, drug paraphernalia and a homemade explosive device.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol Bomb Squad removed and detonated the device.
Werner was released on bond, while Scott remains jailed without bond.
