The Jefferson City Lodging Association is appealing a court ruling in its lawsuit against the city and two local organizations.
The association filed the lawsuit last year, arguing that lodging-tax funds collected for the Jefferson City Convention and Visitors Bureau violate the Missouri Constitution.
A judge granted summary judgment in favor of the defendants in August.
The association has now filed an appeal, continuing the legal dispute over how the tax money is collected and used.
