An increased safety belt enforcement will be taking place in Mexico today (Thursday).
Mexico Public Safety Department says they will be participating in Occupant Protection Day in Missouri and it is a statewide enforcement.
According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, 182 have been killed in Missouri crashes so far this year.
