The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who was found dead in the Missouri River near Tebbetts on May 28.
As of today, [Monday] various forensic measures to identify the body have been unsuccessful.
Sheriff Clay Chism says at the time of the recovery, the body was in a state of rapid decomposition.
An autopsy determined the body to be that of of a white male or light-complexion black man between the ages of 20 and 40. He is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and 195 pounds.
The body has a distinguishable tattoo on the right chest with the terms “J Diddy” and “J Dawg”.
